Tata Motors has registered over one lakh bookings for the Tiago, in a span of 14 months. The carmaker was able to deliver more than 65,000 Tiagos to customers within a year.
This sales milestone is an important achievement for Tata Motors, especially when none of the other Tata passenger vehicles has achieved this landmark. The entry-level hatchback is priced at Rs 3.42 lakhs for the base variant and goes up to Rs 5.98 lakhs for the top end model. It is available in petrol and diesel models and recently been introduced with an AMT gearbox in the petrol trim.
The Tata Tiago is produced at Tata's manufacturing facility in Sanand and its production is in full swing. The manufacturer is working on catering to the demand of remaining customers whose deliveries are pending. Now the new Tiago's AMT variant caters to the demand of prospective buyers who are looking for an automatic entry-level compact car.
