Tata Motors has launched the Tiago hatchback at a lucrative starting price of INR 3.20 Lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The diesel version starts at INR 3.94 Lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The vehicle is available in XB, XE, XM, XT & XZ with optional variants in XE, XM & XT variants. The Tiago is offered in interesting shades of Striker Blue, Berry Red, Sunburst Orange, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver.

The petrol version Tata Tiago is powered by 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron engine that generates 84bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. The diesel on the other hand gets 1.05-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 67bhp of power and 139Nm of torque. The vehicle gets the Multi-drive mode - City and Eco that allows you to drive as per your moods and needs. The drive modes are supported by an advanced Engine Management System (EMS).

On the design aspect, the Tiago is based on the new IMPACT design philosophy which emphasizes on immediate IMPACT at the first sight and a lasting IMPACT overtime. The design inputs have come-in from the Pune, UK and Italy design studios. The car gets segment first applications like Turn-by-Turn Navi app and the Juke-Car app. The Turn-by-Turn app navigation connects to smartphone via Bluetooth. The app also provides guidance on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and Next Maneuver, which helps in simplifying navigation while driving. The Juke-Car app utilizes mobile hotspot to create a virtual network and host a service for sharing list of available songs in the device. All connected devices can view the song list on the hotspot device.

Inside, the Tiago offers a premium feel owing to geometric texture accented with chrome handles, knitted fabrics, colour harmony, layered design theme with a dual tone interior, customisable air vents, premium graphics on the fabric and body hugging seat bolsters. The top-end variant additionally offers colour-accentuated air conditioning vents which is in line with the body colour and height adjustable headrest and seat. The dashboard is adorned with next generation ConnectNext Infotainment system by HARMAN. The car also gets 22 unique utility spaces and biggest boot space in its segment measuring 242 litres.
