Tata Motors has been continuously working on its small car wonder to make it better each day. As its mother plant becomes fully operational, the company vows to produce better Nanos for future customers. Tata Motors has decided to add more safety features to the car to make it safer and more reliable for the customers. It has packed Nano with cover for catalytic converter and fuse for electrical system to avoid any further Nano accidents.

“The company has undertaken a second check and found that the vehicle has a safe design,” said Tata Motors Group CEO and Managing Director Carl-Peter Forster. "The company has taken up several corrective measures and will now offer cover tool on catalytic converter to prevent the car from catching fire. It will also install fuse in electrical components to avoid short circuits," he said.

Tata Motors has recently hiked the price of the Tata Nano by Rs. 8000. During the festive season, Tata Nano did not pick up any outstanding sales figures and the sales mood remained pensive amidst customers.
