Tata Motors, the country's largest automobile manufacturer, is believed to have developed facelift versions of its Indigo eCS, Sumo Gold and cute small car Nano, for the Indian passenger car market. Industry experts have opined that the company is looking at new revamped models for pushing its sagging sales figures in the country. Tata Motors is expected to reveal the reworked Indigo eCS, Sumo Gold and the 2013 Nano models sometime during the third week of June 2013.

The new reworked cars would help Tata Motors in augmenting its overall share in the Indian auto market. The past few months have been not so kind for the company in terms of sales and profit margins. Apart from the Sumo Gold, Indigo eCS and Nano, a special off-roading package trimmed Tata Safari Storme model is also rumoured to be in the pipeline. The yet-to-be launched Safari Storme model would come equipped with a special 4x4 package that would appeal to the adventure seeking and off-road driving loving segment of Indian car enthusiasts.

The revamped Indigo eCS would feature minor cosmetic changes and it would be interesting to see if how well the company grooms its vehicle's interiors and comfort attributes. The Indigo eCS is pitched against Swift DZire, Honda Amaze, Chevrolet Sail and Ford Classic in the compact sedan segment and its entire competition has much better quality of interior setting. The new Sumo Gold SUV is expected to get many design changes in its exterior and interiors, along with several additions in the comfort and convenience features.

The launch of 2013 Tata Nano facelift has been due for many months in the country. The 2013 Nano model is expected to come equipped with a CNG kit this time. Tata Motors would be hoping that its efforts are received positively by the market and the new facelift models are able to lure domestic buyers to its stores.
