Tata Motors has been one of the leading playing in the Indian automotive sector. Tata’s Manza sedan has been around in the country for quite a while now, and has been known for its ample passenger cabin area space. Sales for the Manza sedan were pretty decent when launched, but over time failed to generate much sales numbers. Based on fresh reports from sources, Tata Motors may likely put an end to its so called, long car.
Tata Manza has been sold in the country in petrol as well as diesel trim options. The diesel version is stated to be powered by 1.3 Liter Multijet engine that is capable of producing about 90 Bhp of power with 200 Nm of torque. Whereas, the petrol trim is stated be powered by 1.4 Liter engine. Both the engines have been mated to 5-speed manual transmission.
The Indigo eCs would continue to be on sale, whereas the Manza sedan may be stopped to increase production of Tata’s newbie Zest. The company has denied the possibility of Tata Manza being stopped, but since the vehicle is not reportedly readily available at showrooms across the country and is sold on order basis, the company is likely to end it sometime soon.
