It seems Tata Motors has managed to sail through the tough times partially. As per the latest reports, bookings for Jaguar and Land Rover models were good. There is a waiting list till October this year which is a mark of healthy growth. “The demand was also tremendous for both the variants,” said B Krishnan, Vice-President, Commercial, Passenger Car Business unit, Tata Motors. He was speaking on the sidelines of inauguration ceremony of a new passenger vehicle dealership in Bangalore. He also commented that although there was a little decline April-May sales figures but the same have picked up after June-July.

The company also foresees good and healthy growth in the overseas market as most of the economies in Europe have announced that they have pulled out of recession. Japan has also announced that the economy has pulled out of recession which is yet another good sign.

Tata Motors will launch the new Indigo series models later this year. It has already already launched Jaguar and Land Rover in India and the models are on sale at its Mumbai dealerships. It also intends to bring Ferrari and Maserati to the Indian market in association with Fiat. Fiat is Tata Motors’ international marketing agency and will sell latest Tata model, Nano in Latin American markets. Later it will sell Nano in other international markets as well.
