Tata Motors is now geared up completely to address Nano woes arising in the Indian auto market. Last year, three Tata Nanos caught fire while standing in the parking lots while in past one month two brand new Tata Nanos were caught up in flames.

Tata Motors has formed a core team to address the issue. The team comprises of best engineers and its technicians who will study the problem and identify the root cause of the problem. According to company’s official spokesperson, the team will try to come up with the reason and the solution within one month. “Once we are clear about the issue, we will do a campaign to reassure the customer,” he said. He also stated that there is no flaw with the core design and technology of the car.

Tata Motors has been facing harsh criticism owing to the recent Nano incidents in Mumbai and near Vadodra. It is widely speculated that the recent incidents were a result of electrical wiring or a fuel glitch that could have caused the fire.
