Tata Motors, the largest auto maker in the country, added one more launch in the list of a series of new car launches in the Indian market. The company rolled-out a new version of its popular model Indica Vista in the Indian market on Sunday. The new Indica carries a starting price tag of Rs 3.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Same as its previous version, the new model is available in both diesel and petrol versions in the Indian auto market.
The diesel version of the car is powered by a 1.3-litre common rail direct injection, Quadrajet engine that delivers an exceptional mileage of 22.3 kmpl. On the other hand, the petrol version is powered by a 1.4-litre MPFi, Safire engine that offers a high fuel economy of 16.7 kmpl. While the base petrol version is priced at Rs 3.88 lakh, the base diesel variant is priced at Rs 4.79 lakh.
The new generation Tata Indica Vista has been offered in six exciting colors including summer sparkle, white, silver, red, blue and grey. The major safety, convenience and comfort features offered with the car include ABS (anti-lock breaking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), dual airbags, crumple Zones, engine immobilizer, and side intrusion beams also equipped with remote keyless entry and the newly designed front chrome grill. The new triple-barreled head lamps ensure enhanced visibility in bad weather or low-light conditions.
