      Tata Bolt launched in Nepal, priced at NPR 23.95 lakhs

      The Bolt hatchback from Tata Motors has been quite successful in the Indian market. This time around the hatchback has made its grand debut in the Nepal market to appease the automotive fanatics there. Tata Bolt has reportedly been launched in Nepal via its authorized distributorship outlet, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., at a price tag of about NPR 23.95 lakhs (INR 14.98 lakhs) for Petrol, whereas the diesel trim is offered at NPR 28.35 lakhs (INR 17.74 lakhs).

      Tata Bolt in petrol continues to be powered by 1.2 Litre turbocharged Revotron engine that generates about 90 PS and 140 Nm of torque, whereas the diesel trim is powered by a 1.3-liter engine that generates about 75 PS of power with 190 Nm of torque. Petrol reportedly delivers about 18 kmpl, whereas the diesel delivers about 23 kmpl.

      Speaking more on the launch occasion, Sujan Roy, Regional Head, South Asia, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said, “With the aim to deliver the best to our customers, we at Tata Motors are delighted to launch the much-awaited Bolt, a sporty hatchback. We expect Bolt to strengthen our presence in the hatchback market. A stylish car with many segment first features, the Bolt offers global design and standards that will equally bring in new first time buyers as well as appeal to existing auto users looking for an exciting product in this segment.”

      The Nepal trim of Tata Bolt shall also feature interesting features like alloy wheels, projector headlights, multifunction steering wheel, and automatic climate control. For entertainment the vehicle gets touchscreen Harman entertainment system with video playback functionality. As for safety, the vehicle offers ABS, EBD, Corner Stability Control and dual front airbags.
