In a bid to cash-in on the upcoming festive season, Tata Motors is planning to bring-in the Celebration Edition of the Bolt hatchback that has been leaked in images prior to its launch in India. Launched on January 20, 2015, the Tata Bolt has failed to meet sales expectations of the company. The Bolt Celebration Edition which is likely to be sold from 1st October –15th November, 2015, might help the home-grown automaker take advantage of the festive season.

The Tata Bolt Celebration Edition will be made available with a dealer-level accessory kit, and might be offered with all the variants of the hatchback. The accessory package includes a special Celebration Edition badge on the right side C-Pillar, a rear spoiler, decals on the hood, doors, pillars and roof, and illuminated scuff plates. This package might be priced around Rs. 13,000.

Powering the Bolt Celebration Edition is the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged, Revotron petrol and the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engines that do duty to the regular models. The former churns out a maximum power of 88.8bhp and 140Nm of torque, while the latter is good for 74bhp and 190Nm. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Besides launching the Bolt Celebration Edition, Tata Motors is planning to introduce a bunch of new cars in the Indian market. The products that the home-grown carmaker will bring-in are Kite (Boom) hatchback, Kite-based sedan (Glade), Nexon compact SUV and Hexa SUV.
