Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Celerio in a special edition avatar for the entire range. Interestingly, this time it’s Suzuki who has introduced a limited edition model of the Celerio in the UK.
Unlike the India-spec car which will be sold in good numbers, this limited edition version, called Celerio City, is limited to just 500 units. It’s based on the SZ2 grade which features a music system, six airbags, driver’s seat height adjustability and central locking as standard equipment.
In the Celerio City, buyers get additional features like alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, black body side mouldings with the Celerio logo, black b-pillar covers and City badging, depicting over £800 (Rs 66,000) in added value. The limited-run Celerio City is priced at £7,499 (Rs 6.20 lakh) with an optional metallic paint at £465 (Rs 38,400).
