Life of the party, the V-Strom from Suzuki has finally come up with a price tag of Rs. 14.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The adventure tourer will be sold in India through the CBU route. As per sources, the new bike shares a common platform with the global V-Strom 650 line.
The Suzuki V-Strom is powered by a 1000 cc four stroke V-Twin engine. The liquid cooled DOHC engine is mated to a six speed gearbox. The bike features twin disc at the front, while the rear comes with a single disc. For comfort, the bike is blessed with an inverted telescopic suspension at the front, whereas the rear gets link type coil spring setup. It is said that the bike is slightly more powerful in comparison to its previous models.
Surprisingly, the Suzuki V-Strom weighs approximately 228 kgs, making it quite lighter in this segment. Moreover, this new bike from Suzuki line has been specifically designed for the Indian conditions. The front windshield is adjustable as per rider height, and the overall built quality is also rugged to last. Furthermore, the twenty litre fuel tank capacity ensures you head out on long trips without needing regular stops at fuel pumps.
