The all new Suzuki Inazuma 250Z has undergone surgeon's knife and the cosmetic makeover can easily be comprehended by the onlooker. In a bid to change the street-bike's appearance, the auto maker has extended its colour schemes to 2 more dual-shades of red-black and blue-black. Slight differences can also be witnessed at the outer body, which now comprises fine stripes on headlamp cowl, tail and the rim. The iconic moniker of the company has been stretched to the fuel tank and offers a more appealing look to the Suzuki Inazuma 250Z. The sturdy looking bike has been transformed into a more robust-looking vehicle by the elite designer team of Suzuki. Although the company claims that these tweaks are just for the aesthetics of the bike, efforts are being made to enhance the efficiency of the powerplant.

The bike was launched in India during the beginning of this year at a hefty price tag of Rs. 2.4 lakh. This quarter-litre offering of the Japanese auto major is incorporated by a 249 cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which has the capacity to generate 25 bhp of power with maximum torque of 22 Nm. Coupled to a 6-speed transmission, this compact mill feeds all the energy to back wheels via an exposed chain drive. The suspension system is supported by telescopic at front and monoshock at rear, and ensures a comfortable ride on roads. The presence of disc brakes on the large 3-spoke alloy wheels of this bike strengthens the safety aspect of the rider. Overall, the new Suzuki Inazuma 250Z has been given a peppier look to gather the interest of young generation bikers. Speculations are that the company might also introduce this special edition version in the domestic market as well. Such a circumstance would certainly prove to be a delight for the vast fan following of Suzuki in India.
