Ford India has enhanced the value of its best selling Figo hatchback by offering certain new features in it. A retrofitted Start-Stop button, along with a Security System can now be installed on any variant of the Figo at a cost of Rs. 30,000, except the base. Both the Start-Stop button and the vehicle tracking system are in one package and cannot be bought separately. These can be purchased from authorised Ford dealers in different parts of the country.
The tracking system operates in three different stages. In the first stage, electronics are completely shut down, while the radio is switched on in stage two. In the third stage, all electronics are switched on. Instead of pressing the clutch, the driver has to press the brake for the car to move. However, none of the systems work if the electronic key is not plugged into the ignition.
The Figo has always been known to provide a great mix of space and fuel efficiency to Indian buyers. Of late, the American auto maker introduced a refreshed model of Figo hatch with few vibrant shades at the exteriors, complementing with two tone upholstery at the interiors. The car also comes with a Bluetooth stereo system, whereas the steering wheel now has mounted audio and Bluetooth controls. With respect to cost of ownership, the Figo provides great value-for-money in its segment.
