One of the important aspects of owning a car is being able to get it serviced within a specified cost and in an effective manner. To ensure that its customers are given a good deal, the German automaker, during the launch of the car also announced the services packages listed under its Start Ease programme that it introduced in 2016. There are two packages and are offered for both the petrol and diesel models.
Star Ease Compact
This plan covers service, lubricants and filters and can be purchased for a maximum of 10 years. This can be had with both the E200 and the E350d. For the petrol models the packages start at Rs 64, 700 for two years all the way to Rs 3.81 lakh for a period of 10 years. The diesel packages start at Rs 94,400 for a two year deal and goes up to Rs 5.17 lakh for the 10 year option.
Star Ease Compact Plus
In addition to the items covered under the Compact package, the plus deal also covers brake discs and pads as well as wiper blades. Here the coverage is a bit more detailed as it takes distance into consideration but can be had with both the petrol and diesel models.
The service package for E200 starts with a 3 years/30, 000km which has been priced at Rs 1.15 lakh and goes all the way up to 10 years/2 lakh km which has been priced at Rs 6.20 lakh. For the E350d, prices start at Rs 1.65 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 9.03 lakh for the 10 years/Rs 2 lakh package.
