From the pictures displayed, it sure looks like Honda has a new sports car up their sleeve, and this might very well be the much rumoured ZSX model (sub-NSX). This one has a resemblance to both the S2000, and the S660 and was shot in California.
What’s obvious though, is that this sports car does not look like a production model, as there are no head lights, and it gets a very low front end with a bare-minimum windscreen. The rear section highlights a large wing and rear fenders that hold long air dams to let air flow into the engine bay. Honda was able to fit a bigger diffuser in this application thanks to the placement of the twin exhausts so high up, and on closer inspection, you can also read ‘Sport’ etched between the tail pipes.
This further clarifies our stand on this model being either a revival of the S2000 or an addition to the S660. Especially when you factor in the fact that Honda doesn’t have the rights to the ZSX name in the USA. As of now, there are no details about whether this car will even see the stage of a motor show. Nevertheless, we shall share more news on this Honda sports car in the recent future.
