The Czech automaker Skoda had recently introduced dual airbags as standard across all its models in India. Adding to it, the company has also revealed that the company will offer ABS as standard across its models in India before the end of this year. With this, the company will comply with the 2017 safety norms before time and also offer enhanced safety features in comparison to its competitors.

Skoda had also recently announced its plans to launch four new products in India in 2017. It includes the Rapid facelift, Octavia RS, Kodiaq SUV and possibly a Rapid-based hatchback. The company has also been striving hard to change the negative brand image which until now was seen as high on maintenance and loads of customer complaints. To change the negative perception the company is working on the after sales area and has offered standard 4-year/100,000 warranty across all models. Moreover, customers can avail standard roadside assistance for four years at no extra cost.

The company will also offer ‘Skoda Service Care’ facility, which means that the customers can expect uniform service charge across the country. Moreover, they can also select the type of service from the basket of services on offer. Customers will be handed out their serviced vehicles on the same day. The new initiatives will help the brand gain a better footing in the Indian market.
