Reports claim that a mildly camouflaged facelifted Skoda Octavia Combi was spotted testing on the D11 motorway in Czech Republic.

Slated to be the first sighting of a facelifted Octavia prototype, the footage shows the camouflaged front end of the Octavia Combi test mule which specifies that the facelifted car may sport a new split headlamp design powered by a full-LED setup.
Reports also suggest that the light in the driver's side rear mirror could indicate the use of a blind spot detection system, and the rear section reveals the use of a more prominent ‘C’ design tail lamp along with new graphics. It is rumoured that the new infotainment system with touch sensitive buttons, from the Kodiaq SUV, could find its way to the facelifted Octavia.
Powering the new Skoda may be a de-tuned version of the 2.0TSI which makes the same power as the 1.8TSI, but will offer improved fuel efficiency. Reports also add that Skoda could unveil the facelifted Octavia next month in the Czech Republic, and the cars could reach dealers in November.
If things turn out this way, we can expect the facelifted Skoda Octavia to hit our shores sometime in 2017.
