The third-gen Superb was introduced in the Indian market in February this year. It’s based on VW’s flexible MQB platform which means it’s not only bigger but much lighter and more efficient than the old car.

At the Kvasiny plant, Skoda made significant investments ahead of the Superb’s start of production. Besides a totally new body-construction line, the Kvasiny site is being prepared for Skoda’s upcoming SUV offering.

The third-gen Superb is currently on sale with ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 22.68 lakh for the 1.8TSI Style MT, going all the way till Rs 29.36 lakh for the top-spec 2.0TDI L&K AT.
