Shahid Kapoor, the famous Bollywood actor, is seen driving luxury cars in movies and seems to have a similar taste in his personal life as well. The young actor has recently brought a new Jaguar XKR-S, the sports car from the stables of Jaguar. He has, now, joined the elite club of famous personalities like Bipasha Basu, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor who possess a Jaguar, the British luxury car brand owned by Tata Group.
The company has customised this vehicle for Shahid, who happily paid a price of Rs. 1.5 crore to get his hands on the powerful vehicle. He tested many vehicles earlier, such as Aston Martin, but finally ended his search by purchasing the XKR-S. After a test drive of the car, he tweeted ‘good days’.
Shahid Kapoor also owns as a 2010 Range Rover and is the first Indian to purchase this car as per reports. At the Jaguar Land Rover Showroom in Mumbai, Shahid received the keys of his new car from Mr. Ratan Tata, Managing Director of Tata Group. The Bollywood celebrity also has a white Mercedes Benz in his collection of luxury cars. Shahid has been an avid auto enthusiast since his college days and started his tryst with cars with a red Maruti 800 that he used to own during his college days.
As far as his future automobile purchases are concerned, Shahid is planning to buy a Ford Mustang. Hummers and Honda CBR 954 RR are two powerful vehicles that fascinate the actor. In one of his movies, called Badmaash Company, he already got pleasure of riding in a Hummer limousine.
