Formula One Ace driver, Michael Schumacher, has decided to bid farewell to F1 racing after his 307th race at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The 43 year old made his debut way back in 1991 and remained world champion for seven times. The ex Formula One champion has not been able to do well in the last three years after he came out of retirement in 2010. His place at Mercedes would be taken by Lewis Hamilton in the next season.

Schumacher believes that Sao Paulo Circuit is the best place to say goodbye to his career at Formula One. Though he had announced his retirement in 2006, he came out of it in 2010, but this time, he has made up his mind not to return to Formula One tracks again. During his retirement in 2006, he was more emotional as he was still fighting for the championships; however, this time he hopes to enjoy the moment.

Ross Brawn, the team principal of Mercedes team said that the Sunday’s race “will be an emotional weekend for everyone in the team.” Brawn has worked alongside the legend most of his career also said “Having worked with Michael for the majority of the 21 seasons of his career, I feel that he is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Formula One driver of all time, and we wish him the very best with his future plans.”
