      Italian car-maker Fiat, had unveiled its Linea sedan amongst a list of interesting cars that were showcased at the recently held Auto Expo 2014 event in Delhi. The Linea sedan carries a rich and elegant style this time around. On the other hand, the Renault Fluence has finally made it to the Indian roads today after much anticipation surrounding its launch. The fresher version of its sleek beauty, 'Fluence' was seen at the Auto Expo event held in Delhi.

      Performance from the Fiat Linea sedan is fairly impressive. The Fiat Linea is powered by 1.4 Litre Fire and T Jet engines, the former generates about 90 bhp of power with 115 Nm of torque, whereas the T Jet generates about 114 bhp with 207 Nm of torque. The sedan shall also be available in diesel version powered by Multijet diesel engine that generates about 91 Bhp of power with 209 Nm of torque. The interior of the car has remained more or less the same as its previous version. The only difference here is a new black and beige colored dashboard. The Italian car-maker has also payed special attention to the safety of the car's occupants; the face-lifted version is loaded with EBD, airbags and ABS system. The ex-Showroom Delhi prices for Fiat Linea sedan are - Petrol Active is offered at Rs 6.99 lakh, T-Jet petrol Active - Rs 7.65 lakh, T-Jet petrol Dynamic - Rs 8.53 lakh, petrol Emotion - 9.01 lakh, Multijet diesel Active - Rs 8.15 lakh, Mulitijet diesel Dynamic - Rs 9.27 lakh and Multijet diesel Emotion - Rs 9.72 lakh.

      The Renault Fluence sedan is available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol single trim variant is powered by 2.0 Litre engine that is mated to six-speed CVT gearbox, whereas the diesel version gets a 1.5 Litre engine that is mated to six-speed manual transmission and generates about 110 Ps of power with 240 Nm of torque. As per ARAI certification, the diesel variant returned an impressive 20.4 kmpl. The diesel sedan shall be available in two variants E2 and E4. The front fascia looks sportier and little aggressive in comparison to its previous counterpart. The headlamps with LED daytime running lamps are longer and flow in an upward direction. Front bumper gets a large grill which is complimented with a new set of fog lamps. The 16-inch alloy wheels are also quite impressive. For the interiors the sedan gets soft touch dashboard, illuminated glove box, up to date infotainment system, engine Start/Stop button and electrically adjustable mirrors. The seating area has an upmarket feel and looks rich. The smart sedan carries a starting price tag of Rs 13.99 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the E2 trim and the E4 trim is put up for grabs at Rs 15.81 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
