      Second generation Renault Duster launch in 2017

      French automaker Renault launched the Duster compact SUV in 2010 under Dacia badge. This model has been doing tremendous business for the car manufacturer as the company managed to sell over 1 million Dusters worldwide. According to French media, the next generation Duster will go on sale in 2017.

      The all new Duster will have the current design structure, maintaining a simple yet functional design language. According to rendered image, the vehicle gets new headlights and grille. Similarly, the rear profile of the compact SUV features new taillights and the updated bootlid. The design of the SUV will go upmarket to compete well against the growing competition in the segment.

      The next generation Duster will be benefited with several advanced safety features, added equipment and a new interior styling. Under the bonnet, the compact SUV will get the similar powertrain; however, the company might tweak the 1.5-litre K9K diesel and the 1.2-litre TCe engines.

      Last year, Renault unveiled the Duster facelift which will also scheduled to go on sale in India. The company will launch the 4x4 variant of the SUV by festive season in the country. The updated model will be equipped with new grille, updated headlights and taillights. Inside the cabin, the SUV remains unchanged except for few changes like controls on steering wheels, seat upholstery etc.
