Bajaj Auto has registered a fall of 20 per cent in the demand for its motorcycle as it delivered just 2,54,544 units during the month of June 2013. In the same period last year, the auto maker sold 3,18,377 units, Bajaj Auto Limited said in an official statement. During the month, the shipments of the auto maker stood at 1,20,399 units, marking a growth of 3.73 per cent under the review of 1,16,062 units exported in June, 2012.
Considering the commercial vehicles category, the Indian two-wheeler maker said its sales stood at 41,205 units with an increase of 53.83 per cent over 26,785 units sold in the corresponding period of 2012. The total vehicle sales of the auto maker during June 2013 stood at 2,95,749 units, representing a fall of 14.3 per cent as against 3,45,162 units recorded in year ago period.
