Royal Enfield is a company known throughout India for manufacturing only one model – the Bullet, which is a big misconception since the firm produces other series of bikes as well. The product line of Royal Enfield includes Classic, Bullet, Thunderbird and Continental GT series. Many times, the Classic series from Royal Enfield is mistaken for the Bullet chain of vehicles, which is incorrect due to the technology and mechanical factors. One model from the Classic series is highly popular in the country – the Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm.

This bike, right from the instance a person looks at it, practically sells itself in the market due to its colour and the military touch given by the manufacturer. In a country like India, owning a Royal Enfield is synonymous with being masculine and the Desert Storm just about personifies that fact. Huge, stylish and pretty raw looking, Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm has an old school design scheme that makes it look like a bike meant for the military. In fact, it is believed that the firm Royal Enfield, originally a British entity, was established for providing vehicles for the military. Looking at the Classic Desert Storm, one can clearly say that there is no other bike that is more suited for a person from the cavalry or infantry.

Featuring a sand paint scheme, which is quite symbolic of the war era, this bike has a touch of youth to it, making it suitable for a modern day youngster as well. The Tiger Eye Headlamp is one of the highlights of this bike and gives it a traditional look along with providing powerful lighting due to the halogen. The silencer of this bike provides the Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm with an appearance that belongs to the mid 20th century. Quite famously, this bike was used by actor Farhan Akhtar in his movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, where he played the role of athlete Milkha Singh, who was in the army for some part of his life.

This bike is powered by a Twinspark, single stroke and 4 stroke engine that has a displacement of 499 cc, which is quite colossal. The Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm is capable of generating an output of around 27.2 BHP along with peak torque of 41.3 Nm. Industry experts believe that the power level achieved by this bike is quite incredible and it has the ability to perform in all conditions, irrespective or the terrain or the weather.
