The Continental GT from Royal Enfield has been the company's first model in the performance bike segment in India. For a while now news has been doing rounds that the company has been working on a bigger engine, possibly a 750cc. As per fresh reports, the upcoming trim is likely to be powered by 650cc and not 750cc as believed earlier. More details about the bike shall be known at a later date.
The RE Himalayan is expected to be launched soon in two news variants. The bikes are expected to be powered by 410cc engine. One with a carburettor and five speed manual gearbox, whereas the other may be based on fuel-injection technology and six-speed transmission. The five speed trim is expected to be launched in India, whereas the six-speed trim would be for the international markets. Further updates on developments shall be known in coming days.
