      BMW has revealed the 2015 X6 crossover, the upgraded version is expected to be launched by the end of 2014 in December. Crossover’s new avatar flaunts tweaked exterior, interiors and enhanced aerodynamics. BMW has bestowed 2015 X6 crossover with a bunch of new features including bi-xenon head lights and an automatic tailgate offered as standard. On the outside, 19-inch alloy wheels affixed on the flared wheel arches impart a sporty look to the vehicle.

      Step inside the cabin and you will notice the new sporty steering wheel, iDrive infotainment system with up to a 10.25- inch display and Dakota leather seats that offer enhanced comfort to the passengers sitting inside. Other features like automatic climate control with segregate zone and centre console-mounted knee pads will also be seen. The crossover offers an excellent boot space of 1,515 litres.

      Tweaked X6 crossover will also be spun off in M Sport trim that will be embedded with extra features and aerodynamic kit. The M Sport trim will come with a matte aluminium grille and a 19- inch lightweight alloy wheels. Besides these, the trim will also be offered with a revivified cabin and an adaptive M suspension along with a self-levelling rear air suspension.

      2015 X6 will be offered in three engine options. A 4.4 litre TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that generates a maximum power output of 450 PS and a top torque of 650 Nm will be equipped in the xDrive 50i. The robust 4.4 litre motor enables the vehicle to propel from 0 to 100 kmph within 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed marl of 250 kmph.

      Other than this a 3.0 litre TwinPower turbo six-cylinder diesel powertrain that engenders a peak power and torque output of 258 PS and 560 Nm respectively will also be put on offing. This powerplant will be seen in the xDrive30d variant. The engine will make the vehicle sprint from 0 to 100 kmph within 6.7 seconds and attain a top speed of 230 Kmph.

      The third engine, is a 3.0 litre six cylinder, tri-turbocharged diesel mill which will be packed in the high end version of the facelifted crossover. This engine is good for 381 PS of pinnacle power and 740 Nm of top torque and sprints the vehicle from nil to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds while touching a top speed mark of 250 kmph. Going by the power and torque output this is the most powerful motor in revivified X6 line-up.
