      Renault Triber to be launched in India on 28 August; Bookings to open soon

      Renault Triber is all set to be launched in India on 28 August, the company has confirmed. The company will start taking bookings for the Triber from 17 August at an amount of Rs 11,000, and customers can reserve the car online on Renault’s official website or at the 350+ authorized dealerships across the country.

      The Renault Triber will be offered in four trims and will be available with manual and AMT options. It is underpinned by an all-new modular CMF-A+ platform, which is a modified iteration of the Kwid’s platform. It will compete against the Hyundai Grand i10 and the Maruti Suzuki Swift.

      The Triber will come equipped with features like a cooled glovebox, eight-inch MEDIANAV infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, cooled central area, EASYFIX third-row seats, and AC vents and 12V charging ports in all three rows. Safety features will include ABS with EBD, four airbags, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert and a front seat belt reminder.

      Powering the Renault Triber will be a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that generates 71bhp and 96Nm. It will be offered with a five-speed manual gearbox or an optional Easy-R AMT. Prices are expected to fall under the bracket of Rs 5-7 lakhs (ex-showroom).
