Renault Symbioz concept teased ahead of Frankfurt debut

The Symbioz showcases Renault’s vision of a 2030 car equipped with autonomy, electric drive and connectivity. The name Symbioz is derived from ‘sumbiosis’, the Ancient Greek word for ‘living together’. The letter ‘Z’ at the end of the name refers to Renault’s all-electric Z.E. technology which powers the concept vehicle. The glimpse at the rotating concept car reveals it to be a sporty hatchback. A large futuristic wheel design is present with an unusual door line. It is suspected to have a rear-hinged door set-up. The Trezor Concept cues are evident as well. The roof appears to be made up of transparent material.

According to Renault, the Symbioz concept caters to the future expectations of the customers pertaining to mobility and lifestyle. The Boulogne-based carmaker claims that it comes prepared for “the environmental and urban challenges that lie ahead”. The Symbioz concept is also a way for Renault to explore autonomous, electric, connected mobility in the future.
