      Renault India to unveil new compact hatchback on 28th October

       The Indian unit of the France based leading car maker Renault is all set to launch its first ever compact hatchback in the Indian market by the very soon. As per the recent media reports, Mr. Carlos Ghosn, Chairman Chief Executive Officer at Nissan-Renault, will be on India visit in the last week of this month, where he will be bringing into focus the firm’s  the upcoming compact car in the Indian market.

      While gearing-up for a extensive brand promotion, the company is also set to reveal a concept version of its upcoming small car at the upcoming F1 Grand Prix in the country. The Renault compact car concept is expected to be unveiled by Mr. Carlos Ghosn at Buddh International Circuit in Noida, where the event is scheduled to be held on 28th October. 
      The production version of new Renault compact hatchback is expected to hit the roads by the month of January 2012.
       
      The upcoming International Auto Expo in the National Capital could be the preferred launching pad by the firm for this new small car. The car is expected to be shelved in the price segment of Rs 5 to 6 lakh, where it will be taking on with the likes of Maruti Swift, Skoda Fabia, Honda Jazz, Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo. Bookings of the new Renault car are expected to be commenced in January 2012. 
       
      Renault
