The growing acceptability of Renault brand among customers is being driven by our strong product portfolio and extensive dealer network, while the Renault Duster continues to retains the top spot as the most popular SUV in India. With such strong pillars of growth, we remain confident of our continued success in theIndian automotive market in the near term.”

It must be noted that Renault India currently offers only five models in the Indian auto market through its product portfolio. It must be noted that along with offering the renowned compact SUV Duster to the Indian buyers, the auto maker is engaged in shipping the model in other right hand markets as well. It must be noted that in near future, Renault will be transforming India into its manufacturing hub for right hand drive models.

The production unit of Renault India is based in Oragadam, Chennai, which has a potential to roll out 400,000 units each year. Besides, the French auto maker has maintained a widespread network of its authorised dealerships in the country with around 100 showrooms across the length and breadth of India.
