French automaker Renault has silently added a new variant to its Duster SUV 85PS lineup. With this, the company aims to increase its market share and compete well against the likes of Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano. Named as Renault Duster RxL Plus, this new variant sports a range of safety features such as anti-Lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, and dual front airbags.
Moreover, the company is also offering an additional pack with RxL trim, which includes parking sensors and a driver seat belt reminder. The new Renault Duster RxL is tagged at Rs. 10.6 lakh, while the RxL options pack model costs Rs. 11.18 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Under the hood, the Renault Duster RxL Plus variant has the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 85PS and 200Nm of top torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
