      Refreshed Mahindra Bolero Introduced on its 10th Anniversary

      Mahindra Bolero was launched 10 years back in India and has continued to retain its dominance in its segment. In past 10 years, the model has outperformed every single SUV sold in the Indian market and continues to hold 29 percent share in its segment. The model is priced at Rs. 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

      Mahindra has now introduced refreshed model of the existing model on the anniversary occasion. “We were very careful while positioning the Bolero. We never wanted it to be classified as a tourist vehicle. The idea was to promote it as a personal vehicle complete with style and status,” said Mr Rajesh Jejurikar, M&M Chief Executive (Automotive sector).

      Mahindra Bolero is positioned as a rugged, tough and dependable entry level SUV for Indian roads and not specifically a tourist vehicle. This has led to its sales growth in the rural market which accounts for nearly three-fourth of its sales. Mahindra Bolero has managed to cross 50,000 sales mark for three years in a row making its a volume leader for the company.
