      Range Rover Becomes Worlds First Car to Carry Ipad as Standard

      Land Rover, the British subsidiary of the Indian auto giant Tata Motors, has become the first ever car maker to fit the iPads as standard accessories in its vehicle. The company rolled-out a limited edition of its popular luxury 4WD which has become the first ever vehicles in the history of global auto market to be featured by with iPads as standard, as reported by Stuff.co.nz.

      The new edition of the Range Rover - Autobiography Ultimate Edition – comes incorporated with two portable tablet devices of Apple, fitted into the front seatbacks of the vehicle. The new iPad device has replaced the previous traditional DVD screens that are commonly found in the luxury vehicles of this price segment.

      The iPad shelved in the Range Rover model flip-up if rear-seat passenger wants to watch movies, browse the internet or listen to music. Moreover, the back seats of the model have been given an office-style look with the help of new console extensions with Apple keyboards along with aluminum laptop table and drinks chiller. The vehicle also features a handcrafted yacht-inspired wooden cargo floor and leather interior.

      The all new Range Rover Ultimate will be offered with a choice of a 5.0-litre supercharged petrol V8 engine or a new turbo diesel V8 engine.
