The Indian arm of Porsche, a world renowned German automotive marque and part of Volkswagen Group, has rebuked allegations made by its former importer Precision Cars India, as false and completely baseless. Since 2004, Precision Cars India imported Porsche cars in the country, before the German firm gave away the business to Volkswagen's local division.

As per reports, Precision Cars India had filed 6 cases against Porsche India, for cheating, extortion, dishonestly inducing delivery of property, criminal breach of trust and criminal conspiracy in both trial and High Court of Rajasthan at Jaipur.

In its reply, the German auto firm has confirmed that both the courts have upheld the termination of its import agreement with Precision Cars India. The company has also stated that Precision Cars India's subsequent appeal to Supreme Court of India has also been dismissed.

As per Porsche's local lawyers, the bailable warrants issued by Jaipur courts were just a form of legal summons, which named individuals with an option of answering to allegations against them, in front of the court. The German auto major believes that filing of criminal lawsuit against them by Precision Cars India is just an afterthought and completely devoid of any substance.

Porsche has confirmed that it holds Indian judiciary procedures with utmost respect and will answer to each and every accusation made by its former importer, in front of the court. The company will take all the corrective actions in ensuring a swift and clean legal process. Further, Porsche's lawyers and litigation department are confident of exposing the lawsuit filed by Precision Cars India as entirely trivial and baseless.
