Porsche Macan R4 launch on November 15

Porsche has been growing strong in the Indian market. Next month, on November 15 the luxury sports carmaker will be launching the new Macan R4 in the country. The new model will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and will be positioned below the current Macan S diesel and Macan Turbo petrol. Post launch, the entry level vehicle will compete strongly against Jaguar F-Pace in the country.

Under the hood, the Macan R4 will get a 2.0-litre petrol engine which generates 249bhp of power. The all-wheel-drive system mated to a seven-speed PDK gearbox allows the vehicle to sprint from 0 – 100kmph in just about 6.7 seconds and it can attain a top speed of 229kmph. The exterior has been carved out well and without losing  its iconic shape, it continues to thrill with impressive driving dynamics. It gets a wide grille on the bumper with foglamps, while the headlamps sit deep in the hood. The rear sports wide large tail lamps which flow from the boot lid onto the sides of the vehicle.

Cars from Porsche have always offered top notch quality interior and the legacy continues with the upcoming Macan R4 too.  It gets premium leather upholstery, climate control, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth infotainment system and much more. For safety, it will get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, traction control and more standard. More details about the vehicle will be known in the coming days.
