Rod Wallace has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Porsche Cars India Pvt. Ltd. He shall be responsible for company's Indian operations and initiatives in the Indian car market. He holds 30 years of experience in the automobile industry and had worked in the premium car segment for several years. He began his career with Porsche 12 years ago and has held nearly every management and supervisory position in the company. He has also worked across global markets like UAE, the UK, and South Africa.

Before being appointed for Porsche India, he was working with Porsche South Africa where he was responsible for creating team and he quadrupled the sales and revenue by his expertise and industry experience.

When asked about his strategy for Indian operations, he commented that the company aims to maximise its operations in the country by ensuring a promising customer experience that exceeds that of any other brand. He also said that company aims to primarily focus at the customer and make them the spokesperson for the company.
