      Orange County International Auto Show 2012 flags-off in California

      The Orange County International Auto Show 2012 was recently held at Anaheim Convention Centre in California. The event that went on for three days, was organised by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association (OCADA) in collaboration with Motor Trend Auto Shows. The auto show witnessed the unveiling of several automobile concepts that belonged to various auto dealer members.

      The auto show also exhibited several other car manufacturers that presented their interesting new car concepts. Few of the impressive ones were the Gumpert Apollo Supercar, the revamped Volkswagen Beetle 2012 and the new Honda CR-V 2012, among others. It is important to note that various press releases have given rave reviews to the new Honda CR V 2012. As a matter of fact, Honda CR-V 2012 is all geared up for sale by 2011 year end.

      Executive Honda America Vice-President Sales, John Mendel, proudly stated that, “As the best-selling SUV in each of the past four years, the 2012 CR-V promises to build on its highly successful formula with even more style, innovative features and higher fuel economy.”

      Apart from the automotive exhibition, there were after-market and speciality booths such as the Dub area that featured personal automobiles of several personalities. The international auto show offered test rides that were facilitated by Ford, Chevy, Hyundai and Volkswagen.

      Auto events, such as Orange County International Auto Show, leave a huge impact on the buyer's mind. According to Motor Trend magazine and some experts, around 20 per cent  of potential buyers purchase cars from these auto shows. Moreover, various driving experiences and test drives at these auto shows, help participants decide as to which model should be purchased. 

      Thus, Orange County International Auto Show, like the others, has proved to be an effective platform for car makers, to showcase their skills and extraordinary technologies,        along with promoting fuel efficiency and optimum utilisation of resources world over.
