Fresh news has been doing rounds that Chevrolet Trailerblazer SUV from General Motors is likely to be unveiled in a innovative way via online marketplace like Amazon. Sources have revealed that the company may list the details on Amazon.in soon just days ahead of its official launch on 21st October. Post launch, customers may be allowed to book the vehicle via the e-commerce portal and authorized dealership outlets.
Sources have also indicated that the company may stop accepting bookings on Amazon post 26th October. Interested customers can book one by paying a booking amount of Rs 25,000. The e-commerce websites have been gaining a lot of popularity in recent times. Last year, a similar kind of strategy was being used by Mahindra too when it offered Scorpio SUV via Snapdeal.com. This time around General Motors has been intending on something similar via the Amazon e-commerce portal.
The new Trailblazer SUV shall be powered by 2.8-litre Duramax, four-cylinder engine that would generate about 197Bhp of power. The vehicle would be offered with interesting set of features like Hill-Descent Control and Hill-Start Assist apart from features like anti-lock braking system, panic brake assist, electronic brake force distribution system, cornering brake control and electronic stability control. It could likely be offered around Rs 30 Lakh bracket.
