Nissan has announced the arrival of a new multipurpose 360-degree dash camera called ‘JukeCam’ which can also be used as an action sports camera. There’s been a steady rise in the demand for dashboard cameras since it gives evidence to insurance companies and other legal authorities should a dispute arise.

The JukeCam comes with two bespoke mounts. One which is built into the dashboard of a Nissan Juke, while a second one can be fitted to a helmet. Nissan’snew product has been co-developed with re-known camera specialist - 360fly. The JukeCam has the capacity to continuouslyrecord footage for up to three hours (when used as dash-cam), and the battery has enough juice for it to last up to two hours when detached from the dashboard (for use as an action camera).

Helen Perry, chief marketing manager for Juke, Nissan Europe, said, "Nissan is always seeking to innovate and create new features for its customers, and is a leader when it comes to fitting cameras into cars. JukeCam was born out of a desire to create a camera product which fits with the active lives of our customers.”
