The upcoming Nissan Kicks recently unveiled for the public for the first time ahead of its official launch in January 2019. The new Nissan SUV was showcased as part of the ongoing ICC Trophy Tour in the country. We have learnt that the Nissan dealerships in the country will start accepting bookings for the vehicle from 10 December while deliveries are likely to commence towards the end of January 2019. Although the booking amount remains unannounced for now, we believe it might be around Rs 50,000.
Nissan has only showcased the exterior highlights for now and interior details will be known in the days to come. The exterior highlights include a dual tone floating roof, signature V-Motion grille, door mounted ORVM with indicators, shark fin antennae and LED projector headlamps with DRL. The SUV sits on R17 five-spoke machined alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the upcoming Nissan Kicks is expected to be offered with the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options from the Renault Duster and the Captur. Based on the new MO platform, the new model is larger and longer than the international spec model. More details about the SUV will be known in the days to come.
