Nissan has launched its waterless car cleaning initiative today. This eco-friendly car wash program was kicked off for customers at their newly inaugurated Nissan workshop in Gurgaon.

Nissan dealerships in India begin waterless car cleaning

The new waterless car wash service will save approximately 2.8 million litres of water during Nissan's upcoming eight-day service campaign. Eventually, it is expected to approximately save 130 million litres per year. This dry wash system uses eco-friendly and bio-degradable chemicals to clean a vehicle. There is no need for any additional water after the application of this solution.

The carmaker kickstarted the use of this new car wash technique today at the opening of the seventh edition of the ‘Happy with Nissan’ service campaign for its customers across India. It will soon be introduced to all Nissan dealerships across the country.

Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are introducing our eco-friendly waterless car cleaning solution as part of the seventh iteration of the customer-friendly ‘Happy with Nissan’ service campaign. These efforts are just a sample of ongoing efforts to provide a peerless ownership experience for our customers across India.”
