Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, the Indian unit of Japan based leading car maker Nissan, has inaugurated its new dealerships in the city of Aurangabad and Rajkot, marking its presences in Marathwada and Saurashtra regions, respectively.
“We are delighted to bring Nissan to the customers in the Marathwada and Saurashtra regions in India. We are aware this is a very important phase of our journey and we stand by our commitment to provide Indian customers with a full range of products and services,” said Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, M.D. & CEO, Nissan Motor India.
The new IB Nissan dealership in Rajkot and Shirin Nissan dealership in Aurangabad, can be seen as a part of company’s future expansion plans to cover more than 52 percent of the national territory in its commercial coverage.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Vice President (Operations), Hover Automotive India, said, “We are extremely happy to open new dealerships in Aurangabad and Rajkot. With the valued patronage and support of our dealer partners, we hope to create a significant presence of Brand Nissan and provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards for cars in India.”
At present, the company has a total of 22 dealers spread across 13 states of the country. It plans to take to total number of its sales outlets in India to 100 dealers by year 2013.
