      Nissan Evalia facelift launched with minor updates, price remains unchanged

      Nissan India has quietly rolled out facelift version of its MPV, Evalia details on which are available on the company’s official site. Despite several updates received by the vehicle, price of the MPV remains unchanged and is available at a starting price of Rs 8.5 lakh while the high end version is priced at Rs 10.68 lakh. There is no change in the trim levels of Nissan range, it is still available in three variants-XE, XL and XV.

      Changes made to the exteriors are minimal, front fascia gets a new huge-V-shaped chrome grilled with Nissan’s logo affixed on it. There is no other major change in the MPV as compared to the outgoing model. Interiors get fax-wood panels, new floor mats, captain seats equipped in the second row, armrest has also been provided in the second row seats, AC has been incorporated on the roof, newly designed glovebox compartment and a tilt adjustable steering wheel. High end version of refreshed Evalia gets prominent safety features such as anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, reverse parking sensors, dual front airbags among others.

      Engine configuration has been retained from the previous model, a 1.5 litre, four cylinder, K9K engine is placed inside the vehicle. The vehicle is claimed to deliver an impressive fuel economy of 19.3 kmpl and is capable of pumping out a top power of 85 Bhp along with a peak torque of 200 Nm.
