      Nexa car service facility introduced

      In an effort to take customer experience to a whole new level, Maruti Suzuki has inaugurated the Nexa car service facility in India. The Indian automaker expects to have nearly 300 Nexa service outlets in the country by 2020. The company gets its first Nexa service outlet in Gurugram, Delhi and expects to have 60 outlets by the end of this year. Nexa service facility being a premium offering from the company, is expected to cost around 10-15 per cent higher than the regular service centre.

      The newly inaugurated Nexa service facility focuses on three aspects – Technology, Experience and Design. Nexa car service takes in every customer service request via the Nexa app where they will be allotted a particular time slot with a dedicated manager who will assist right from the creating a job card until the billing process. The centre offers a digital health card that displays the vehicle health based on several key parameters. However, customers who do not have a prior appointment can also visit the service station but might end up waiting longer and will lack the benefits which are offered to those with an appointment. Interestingly, regular Maruti Suzuki customers who have always been looking out for a premium service experience can also get their vehicle serviced at the Nexa facility.  

      Speaking about Nexa service, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki, Kenichi Ayukawa said: “About three years ago, we resolved to transform ourselves to redefine the customer experience and attract new categories of customers. NEXA was a first, important step in Maruti Suzuki’s transformation journey. It has been appreciated by customers. Listening to customers, we have now created NEXA Service to take forward that promise. Plush workshops with premium lounges and use of digital technology to enhance customer service and transparency will be the defining elements of NEXA Service. I am sure customers will like NEXA Service as well.”
