      New Toyota Innova Crysta launched in India

      The Indian unit of the Japanese auto giant Toyota has launched the limited edition of its popular multi utility vehicle Innova in the Indian auto market. The new variant, which has been named as Innova Crysta in the country, carries a price tag of Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Innova Crysta is powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine, and company is offering both BS-III and BS-IV emission norms compatible variants.

      Speaking to the reporters at the launching ceremony, TKM Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) Sandeep Singh, said, "The Innova has been our flagship brand in India and has been a market leader since launch. The new limited edition Innova Crysta is aimed at offering exclusive ownership experience by offering enhanced luxury features."

      The company has said that it will only manufacture 1000 units of this limited edition Innova; the vehicle will be available for sell till October this year. This means, the buyers who are planning to buy this limited edition Innova will have to rush to book the MUV, as Innova is already enjoying a long waiting period in the country.

      Innova is currently the highest selling MUV in the Indian auto market and car is very popular as the tourist vehicle in the country. The Innova model is available in the price segment of Rs 8,35,527- Rs 12,61,695, where it is competing with the likes of Tata Aria and Mahindra Xylo.
