Tata Motors is celebrating 10 years of launching its popular model, Tata Indica. It said that it will launch limited editions of Indica Vista as a part of its 10th anniversary celebration. The company has sold nearly 9.4 lakh Indicas and 12 lakh vehicles overall in the country. It made its highest sales in 2006-07 when it sold 1.44 lakh units in one year. The diesel Indica Vista is priced at Rs 5.04 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and petrol Indica Vista is at Rs 4.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it said in a statement.
The car comes with an all new colour combination – Porcelain White with a Black roof. The exteriors wear alloy wheels, gold finished grill garnish, golden emblems & mascots and a specially designed number plate. The interiors have a more premium look and incorporate a new integrated music system, new seat fabrics in a double stitched pattern and subtle touches all around.
Indica is the first hatchback made by an Indian auto maker and is one of the most popular cars in India. The new Indica, the Vista, was launched in this August with the 1.3l Fiat multijet diesel engine as one of its powertrains.
