      Michelin tyres’ two-wheeler division has launched its new video commercial, initiating its first ever brand campaign in India. Created for different television and digital platforms, this commercial features the brand’s iconic mascot – the Michelin man.

      Focussing on the safety aspects of its products, this video commercial centers around these three elements which Indian riders usually encounter during their commute. With ‘safely ahead’ as the motto, the commercial shows the Michelin tyres’ capabilities on wet and broken roads, as well as their prowess in the braking department.

      During the launch of the commercial in Mumbai, Gary Gutherie, president, Michelin two-wheel tyre division, Michelin Group said, “We recognise that the young generation of India today are always mobile and desire better and safer performance from their bikes. Our Michelin man, ‘Safely Ahead’ campaign illustrates how our two-wheel tyres designed specifically for Indian rides, comes with unbeatable all-round safety, road-holding, braking and overall riding pleasure that they expect from Michelin.”

      Michelin currently has 3,000 touch points in India, a number which the French tyre maker plans to double in the near future. The company has also played an important role in educating the masses about road safety through its different awareness programs over the last three years. Michelin offers tyres for a wide range of two-wheelers stretching from budget scooters right up to litre-class performance bikes.
