Mercedes-Benz disclosed its plan, in its first quarter reports, to introduce the latest C-Class Coupe to the Malaysian market. Now, reports have confirmed that a number of these cars have been stocked up at the dealership.
Power for the C-Class Coupe will be produced by the 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that’s mated to a 7G-Tronic gearbox. It is likely that this engine will be tuned to make 184bhp and 300Nm of torque in C200 Coupe and 245bhp and 370Nm in the C300 Coupe. While the C200 Coupe will do the 0-100kmph sprint in 7.3sec, 6sec is all it will take the C300 Coupe to hit the same speeds.
All the cars shot outside the dealership are fitted with the AMG Line package that feature a diamond radiator grille with sporty bumpers and side skirts. A glance at the alloy designs reveal the difference between the C200 and C300 Coupe. The C200 Coupe will get 18-inch five-spoke AMG design alloys like those on theC250 AMG Line saloon and theC300 AMGsaloon’s 19-inch multi-spoke wheels will find their way on to the C300 Coupe. Full LED Intelligent light system headlamps will be a part of the C300 Coupe package. We presume the C200 Coupe could benefit from the C200 Avantgarde’s equipment list and the C300 Coupe could be similar to the C300 AMG Line saloon.
Mercedes-Benz has not confirmed any details about getting the C-Class Coupe to India yet.
