      Mercedes Benz B Class facelift has been revealed at the ongoing 2014 Paris Motor Show. One of the popular choices in its segment, the vehicle made its India debut in 2012. Tweaked B-Class is expected to be rolled out in the first quarter of 2015. Among the various changes bestowed upon the vehicle, minor exterior tweaks and major interior modifications. While mechanically the hatchback is likely to retain current engine set up. On the outside, most prominent revivification can be seen in the form of revised front and rear bumper imparting sportier semblance to the vehicle. LED infused daytime running lights have now been placed in the head lamp cluster that ups the overall look of the hatchback.

      Cabin gets classier aimed at luring the younger customers. Revisions made inside include flat bottomed steering wheel raising the sporty quotient of the cabin, the feature is offered as a standard fitment across range. The company will also offer an AMG variant of the hatchback. Additional features that this vehicle gets comprise of metal inserts, carbon fibre finish dash and red stitching on the seats and steering. Mercedes has also put on offer 12 ambient lighting themes in the hatchback.

      For the European market, the company has also introduced an electric and natural gas options for the B-Class. Besides this, a 4MATIC or all drive versions will also be made available. Engine line-up as mentioned in the beginning will remain unchanged. In its segment, the vehicle will globally compete with the likes of BMW 2 Series Tourer, i3 and Audi A3 Sportsback. While in India, the hatchback does not face stiff competition in its segment as there are few options in this segment in domestic market.
